Privacy Policy
How we handle your name, your email, and the address we ship your transformation to. Written plainly, without the fog.

What we collect and why.
When you shop with MagicMoon, we collect the basics we need to ship you a shirt and tell you where it is. That means your name, email address, shipping and billing address, and the details of your order (which designs, sizes, and quantities you picked).
We also collect some information automatically when you browse our site: your IP address, the device and browser you're using, pages you visit, and how you got here. This helps us keep the site working and figure out which designs people are drawn to.
If you reach out to customer support, we'll have a record of that conversation too. If you leave a review, we keep that.
How we use it.
We use your information for a short list of specific things:
- Order processing. Charging your card, preparing your order, and getting it to the right address.
- Shipping. Handing off address and contact details to our carriers so they can deliver to you and update you on tracking.
- Customer support. Answering your questions about orders, returns, and the effects of wearing.
- Optional marketing. If you opt in, we'll email you about new drops, restocks, and the occasional moon-cycle update. You can unsubscribe anytime.
- Site improvement. Understanding which pages, products, and designs perform well.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles for third parties.
Cookies & tracking.
Our site uses three types of cookies and similar tracking tech:
- Essential cookies keep your cart working, remember your login, and hold your preferences together across pages. These cannot be turned off without breaking the site.
- Analytics cookies (via Shopify-compatible analytics) help us count visitors, see which products get viewed, and identify where the site is slow. Data is aggregated and, where possible, anonymized.
- Marketing cookies are only set if you opt in. They help us show you relevant ads on other sites and measure campaign performance.
You can adjust cookie preferences through our on-site banner, or block cookies via your browser settings.
Who we share with.
We share data only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need to do their job:
- Shopify and our payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Shop Pay) handle checkout and payments. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
- Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL and similar) receive the name and address needed to deliver your order.
- Email and support tools process transactional emails and customer support conversations.
- Legal or safety requests may require disclosure to authorities; we respond to valid ones.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for advertising or any other purpose.
Your rights.
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- Access a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Correct information that's inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete your information (subject to records we must keep for tax or legal reasons).
- Opt out of marketing by clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email, or by emailing us directly.
- Restrict or object to certain processing, or request data portability where applicable.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact us. We'll respond within 30 days and may ask you to verify your identity first.
Data retention.
We keep your information only as long as we need it:
- Order and transaction data: 7 years, to comply with tax and accounting laws in the U.S.
- Marketing subscription data: until you unsubscribe, after which we keep a minimal suppression record so we don't accidentally email you again.
- Support conversations: up to 3 years, to handle follow-ups and improve our service.
- Analytics data: typically aggregated and retained for up to 26 months.
After the applicable retention period, we delete or anonymize the information.
Children.
MagicMoon is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone in that age range.
If you're a parent or guardian and you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete that information from our records.
Wearers of any age should consult common sense before expecting a t-shirt to rearrange the nature of reality, regardless of what our marketing says.
International transfers.
MagicMoon is based in the United States, and our servers and most of our service providers operate from the U.S. If you access our site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S.
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, and we follow GDPR-aligned practices for access, correction, and deletion requests.
By using the site or placing an order, you consent to this transfer.
Changes to this policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time - for example, to reflect changes in our practices, new services, or legal requirements.
When we make changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we'll give you additional notice, such as a banner on the site or an email to subscribers.
Your continued use of MagicMoon after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically so you know what's going on.
Acceptance of terms.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MagicMoon website, mobile experience, and any services or products offered through them (collectively, the "Service"). They form a legally binding agreement between you and MagicMoon, Inc.
By using the Service, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you're at least 18 years old (or have the permission of a parent or guardian), that you're able to enter into a binding contract, and that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Description of service (a t-shirt company).
MagicMoon is a direct-to-consumer apparel retailer. We design, produce, and ship 100% ring-spun cotton t-shirts with original artwork, primarily sold through our website.
We also offer related content, including product descriptions, quizzes, reviews, and marketing copy about our designs. Some of that copy references "moon charging," "unlocks," and the "effects of wearing" - that language is playful, aspirational brand storytelling. It is not a medical, financial, or supernatural claim, and you shouldn't treat it as one.
You are buying a shirt. A very nice one.
Product disclaimers.
Our marketing references effects such as "wealth," "luck," "healing," and "calm." These statements are for entertainment and storytelling purposes only. MagicMoon does not promise, guarantee, or warrant any specific outcome from wearing a shirt.
- Not medical claims. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any illness or condition.
- Not financial advice. Wearing a shirt is not a strategy for acquiring wealth or securing promotions.
- Results vary. Any observed effects are anecdotal. Individual experiences differ.
Please use reasonable judgment. The shirt is cotton. You are you.
Orders & pricing.
All orders placed through the Service are offers to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order, in whole or in part, for any lawful reason - including stock limits, suspected fraud, or errors in product or pricing information.
We work hard to make sure prices and product details are accurate, but errors happen. If we discover a pricing or description error after you've placed an order, we'll contact you to confirm or cancel the order before it ships, and refund you in full if you decide not to proceed.
Prices are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted, and do not include taxes, duties, or shipping unless stated at checkout.
Shipping & risk of loss.
We ship to the address you provide at checkout. Estimated delivery times are just that - estimates - and we are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Title and risk of loss for all products pass to you upon our delivery of the products to the carrier. That means once your order is handed to the shipping company, it is legally yours. If something happens to your package in transit, we'll help you file a claim with the carrier, but we are not liable for lost or damaged packages beyond what the carrier covers.
Make sure your shipping address is correct. We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address you provided.
Returns.
We offer a 30-day return window on unworn, unwashed shirts in their original condition. For full details - including how to start a return, what's non-returnable, and how refunds are processed - please see our returns policy page.
Returns sent outside of the return window, or that don't meet the condition requirements, may be declined or subject to a restocking fee.
Custom or final-sale items are not eligible for return unless defective.
Intellectual property.
All content on the Service - including but not limited to designs, illustrations, photography, logos, product names, trademarks, written copy, and the overall look and feel - is owned by MagicMoon, Inc. or our licensors, and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and related laws.
When you buy a shirt, you own that specific shirt. You do not acquire any rights to the underlying artwork, designs, or brand. You may not reproduce, copy, modify, resell commercially, or create derivative works from our designs or content without our prior written consent.
"MagicMoon," the moon-crescent logo, and our design names are trademarks of MagicMoon, Inc.
User content.
If you submit a review, photo, comment, quiz answer, or other content through the Service (collectively, "User Content"), you grant MagicMoon a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, display, and distribute that content in any media, in connection with the operation and promotion of the Service.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to your User Content, that it doesn't violate anyone else's rights, and that it isn't illegal, harassing, or misleading.
We may remove User Content at our discretion, but we're not obligated to monitor or moderate everything submitted.
Account responsibility.
If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your password and login credentials secure. You agree not to share your account with others and to notify us right away if you suspect unauthorized use.
You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account, whether or not you authorized it. We are not liable for losses that result from you failing to keep your credentials safe.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account, and to update it as needed so it stays accurate.
Prohibited uses.
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Resell MagicMoon products commercially without our written permission.
- Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Service using automated tools, bots, or similar mechanisms.
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, our servers, or other users' accounts.
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harassing purpose.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
- Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate any of the above.
Limitation of liability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MagicMoon, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages - including without limitation loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses - arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service or any products purchased through it.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the six months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in those cases, this limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted.
Indemnification.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MagicMoon, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use of and access to the Service;
- Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law;
- Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights;
- Any User Content you submit or any claim that it caused damage to a third party.
This indemnification obligation survives termination of these Terms and your use of the Service.
Governing law.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Subject to the dispute resolution section below, you agree that any lawsuit not subject to arbitration must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to these Terms.
Dispute resolution.
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at contact us. We will try to resolve the issue within 60 days of receiving your notice.
If informal resolution fails, any unresolved dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, held in Delaware or by videoconference.
Class action waiver. You and MagicMoon each agree that disputes will be resolved only on an individual basis, and not as a class, collective, or representative action. You waive the right to participate in class or collective proceedings.
Severability.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed from these Terms if it cannot be modified.
The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. A failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
Changes to terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll provide reasonable notice - for example, a site banner or an email to registered account holders - before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updates. If you don't agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service.
